Wayne Center holds itself accountable to it's staff, consumers, their families our community and the public. Members of Board are leaders who voluntarily use their professional skills and knowledge to plan, advise, and generally assist in the success of Wayne Center.

POLICIES


In order to avoid bias, or the appearance of bias, in the decision-making process, which might result from personal involvement in the matter under consideration, the Board of Directors of Wayne Center will adhere to the following policy: A “Conflict of Interest” for members of the Board may exist under the following conditions:


  • The Board member is employed by or is an administrator of an agency, organization or institution with which the agency contracts or which is applying for funds from the agency.
  • The Board member serves on the governing or advisory body of an agency, organization or institution, which the agency contracts, or which is applying for funds from the agency.
  • The Board member has a monetary or fiduciary interest in an agency, organization, or institution with which the agency contracts or which is applying for funds from the agency, or from one of its contract agencies.
