Mission Statement
It is the mission of Wayne Center, which recognizes the dignity of each individual, to be the leading agency in Wayne County in assisting and enabling persons with disabling conditions of other behavioral health care needs to achieve optimal independence and inclusion in the community through self-determination.
About Wayne Center
Wayne Center is a non-profit human services agency that has over 50 years of providing supports coordination and clinical support to those persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Wayne Center believes that the individuals we serve will attain their full self- determination, rights of citizenship and economic and social benefits. We assist them as they advocate on behalf of themselves; and evaluate and continually improve services which support their empowerment and self-advocacy.
